Come join our PTSA meeting Wednesday 1/25/12 at 11:45 am in the Parent Center!!! We will be talking about our HEARO week, Nobel Nest, Book Fair and all things concerning your children; so speak up, share your thoughts and volunteer to help when you can.  Can't make the meeting-  let us know what you can do, we can always use help. the more the merrier :-)

Feb. 4 - E-Waste Collection at Nobel

Nobel Marine Science will be hosting an Electronic Waste Fundraising Event Saturday Feb 4 from 9:00am-2:00pm at Nobel Middle School. Please bring any item that can be plugged in or requires batteries for recycling (ex: TV, Computers, batteries, empty ink cartridges, cell phones). CST Prep
To help our students prepare for the upcoming CST, we are providing a link to the CST websites. Click here to go to the link to the California Standards Testing site. There you can find questions and ANSWERS to past tests. This is a valuable tool made available to all students from the California Department of Education. See what the questions look like and the answers to those questions.

Order Your Yearbook Online or from the Student Store
Once again you can place your order for our Yearbook by going online to Jostens or by placing your order at the student store. Purchase your copy to preserve your memories.  It also makes great gift! Buy now for $35.00 and save $5 so you won't be left out when it arrives in June. There will be a change starting on February 4 as the yearbooks wil cost $37.00, there will be only a $3.00 savings from February 4 through May 2012

New Volunteer Opportunities
Go to our link on the left menu bar to see how you can help. All volunteers, old and new that come to Nobel on a regular basis must report to the Main Office to fill out a Volunteer Form and to find out if they need to get a TB Test this year. TB Test are good for 2 years.

NEW! Online Meal Application

Parents and guardians can submit a meal application online starting July 1, 2011. The application will be processed within 24 hours, and you will not have to fill out a paper application and mail it or hand it over to the Food services Manager at your child’s school. By clicking on the link you can access the online meal application.  Apply Now

Click on the ENGLISH /ESPANOL tab above and choose the language you would like to use. In order to complete the application you will need:

  • Names, Dates of birth and school names for all LAUSD students including any income information for them, if they have an income.
  • Names of all other household members with their income information.
  • Last 4 digits of the Social Security Number of person submitting the application or indicate “I do not have one” if you do not have a Social Security Number.
  • Just follow the instructions and provide the information being requested.
  • Lastly after the final review, click on the submit tab and finish the application.
